The reuse of the former Howard Johnson’s Ice Cream production plant required the adding of additional floors to one wing of the complex. The floors and roof of the existing mill building component were replaced with new wood and light gauge framing. The exterior masonry walls were kept in place to allow for the historic renovation and adaptive reuse.
