There are a total of 64 condominium units in four separate buildings in this building renovation and addition. The buildings were originally part of a manufacturing facility, which occupied a complete city block. Three of the four buildings are connected to form a single building. The buildings were built over a period of time from the early 1900’s to 1954. Only one of the four buildings was not added to. Three of the buildings had their roof framing removed and a new floor and roof structure added. The new framing consisted of steel girders with glulam beams and wood planking to match the existing construction. Each building required a complete seismic upgrade to meet the requirements of the current building code.
