The Heritage at Plantation Ridge

A five building 254 unit apartment complex was designed utilizing panelized wood frame construction. The bearing walls were designed to allow panelization. The lateral wind and seismic loads were resisted by shear walls designed with gypsum sheathing. The architectural shape of the exterior walls allowed the basement walls to be designed as horizontal spanning elements eliminating the need for costly cantilever foundation walls.
