A four-story L shaped 180,000 SF office building was constructed. The floors were framed with steel beams spanning thirty feet supporting a composite three-inch floor deck. The fourth floor was built into a mansard roof. A system of cantilevered beams supported the sloping mansard roof. Ten feet of fill was removed and replaced with compacted structural fill to eliminate the need for a pile-supported structure.
