A two building four-story apartment complex was designed with panelized wood walls, and prefabricated wood floor and roof trusses. The seismic lateral loads were resisted by a combination of gypsum and plywood faced shear walls. Winter construction required special protection for footings at thickened slab locations. Panelization saved 5 weeks on the construction schedule.
