Residence at Union Place

A total of 300 apartment units in eight building, buildings were 3 and 4 stories in height, along with a clubhouse were designed. The structures were framed with wood panelized walls, and pre-fabricated floor and roof trusses. Innovative use of gypsum shear walls were use to transfer the lateral loads. Foundation walls were made to span horizontally to eliminate the need for cantilever retaining walls.
