A three-story 120,000 SF office building was constructed. The floor system was framed with steel bar joists and joist girders. Field welded moment frames in both directions resisted the lateral loads. The corners of the structure were curved and the architecture did not allow for columns within the curved wall. A series of cantilevered beams was used to achieve the column free corner.
