A new two story YMCA structure was designed to fit a sloping site. A cast in place pool was built to provide earth retention. The roofs of both the pool and gymnasium featured wood decking. The shorter span over the pool utilized curved timber beams and the gymnasium was framed with a curved top and bottom steel chord truss. The entry area features exposed curved steel arches.
